Toronto Pearson Airport re-opens Runway 06L/24R, its second-busiest runway, following an eight-month rehabilitation

Today, I joined Toronto Pearson CEO Deborah Flint, and my colleagues, Transport Minister the Honourable Omar Alghabra , MPs Ruby Sahota and Iqwinder S. Gaheer to celebrate Toronto Pearson airport's re-opening of Runway 06L/24R, its second-busiest runway, following an eight-month rehabilitation.
As the air sector continues to move through post-pandemic recovery, investments like this one in our transportation infrastructure will help us ensure that we maintain a vibrant and competitive Canadian air sector.
