People are feeling the rising cost of living. To help Canadians make ends meet, our government is putting more money back in the pockets of those who need it most. The first thing we did when the House came back was introduce legislation to double the GST tax credit for six months. This means an extra $234 in the pockets of single Canadians without children and up to $467 for couples with two children, as well as an average of an extra $225 for seniors this year.
