Call for proposals from organizations helping seniors age well at home
June 9, 2022
Two calls for proposals have been launched for the Age Well at Home initiative.
This new initiative will provide support to organizations that help Canadian seniors stay in their homes longer. 🏠 ❤️
If your organization has a project that can help seniors stay safely in their homes longer, you could be eligible for funding. 💡
Age Well at Home is composed of two streams:
  • In-Home Support Pilot Projects which funds organizations that offer eligible volunteer-based services to seniors. Eligible services could include meal preparation or delivery, light yard work, snow removal and home visits. Organizations can receive up to $800,000 in funding; and,
Scaling up for Seniors which funds eligible organizations to help them expand services that have shown positive results in Canada. Organizations can receive up to $2 million in funding. The deadline to apply is July 22, 2022. ❗ Organizations can visit the Funding Programs page to learn more about the two funding streams and to submit their project proposals online by 3:00 p.m. EST on July 22, 2022.
