Investing in Veterans: Invictus Games 2025

The Invictus Games uses sport and competition to help Veterans and Forces members with injuries or illnesses recover, and rehabilitate, while helping others understand their sacrifices and the supports they need to thrive. Last month, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, announced Canada will host the first-ever winter hybrid Invictus Games in 2025.
Yesterday, we announced that the Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia will invest $15 million each, to support the most innovative and accessible Games to date. We are also committing $1 million to help Canadian Veterans train for and attend the Games.
