Tonight at sundown, Jewish people across Canada and around the world will mark the start of Passover.

The eight day celebration commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt.

Families gather around the Seder table to enjoy festive meals and wine, read from the Haggadah, and recite the four questions in celebration of freedom.
