On Thursday, February 17, 2022 during a meeting of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration I asked Citizenship and Immigration Senior Assistant Deputy Minister Marian Campbell Jarvis about making work permits automatic for international students whose academic programs require them to participate in co-op work programs.
