David Suzuki Foundation advocate Syed Wasif Hussain met with me and Taimur Ali from my team to discuss our government's plan to bring the Canada Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) up to date. The Prime Minister has mandated Minister of the Environment, Steven Guilbeault, to enact a strengthened Canadian Environmental Protection Act to protect everyone, including people most vulnerable to harm from toxic substances and those living in communities where exposure is high.
